Losing excess weight is always good, no matter how slim
This is actually a misconception. The way to lose weight is not negligible. Lose weight and then subjected to the yo-yo effect (rapid recovery of lost weight after a diet) can strain the heart, cause gallstones and disrupt your metabolism. It is healthier to have an excess weight of 2 to 5 kilograms as weight loss and gaining weight constantly. Losing excess weight is good for health but only if weight loss occurs in a healthy and balanced, slow and does not yo-yo. Losing excess weight is not good if the way to lose weight is bad.
